Our Secret to a Factory Assembled  Leak Proof PBR Roof Panel mounted design:

Our 1x1” inside support frame tubes are positioned in the 2 center high ribs of the PBR Metal panel so the Solar Panel support bolts with seals go through the panel high ribs under the cover of the solar panel.

Our standard model  120VAC output with Hybrid Power

For Hybrid Power, the Electrical sub-contractor wires the junction box to mains power the same as any standard light fixture. 

Our 120V standard SRM model also has a plug-in outlet for simple light connection.  Light fixture can be hardwired to Control/ Junction box (5 conduit knockouts).

Key Points:

For mains power, the SRM junction box is wired exactly like a standard light fixture. With hybrid power, the SRM Control board will use Solar/battery power when available and switch to mains power whenever needed.

With Hybrid Power the Light fixture always turns ON when needed.

When there is Solar/Battery power available, the system uses it. 

When the Solar/Battery power is low, the system will use mains power.

The power is automatically managed by the SRM’s onboard power management system.

Additional Notes:
  • In the coming years, replacement battery cost will likely be less. Battery has a 10 year warranty but life expectancy is 15 years or more. ROI may be more or less than shown based on specific use and local electricity costs.
  • In the coming years, the cost of electricity is expected to rise
  • Using an efficient LED light fixture can increase savings up to 2x compared to HID or Fluorescent light fixtures
  • Purchasing the SRM with LED Light Fixtures together can have substantial upfront cost savings
